Uniformed Public Service Full Time Programme

Level 1 Uniformed Services
Duration: 1 year
This introductory programme provides an excellent foundation for students interested in careers within the uniformed services. You will develop confidence, teamwork, communication and personal fitness while gaining an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of organisations such as the Police, Armed Forces, Fire and Rescue Service and Prison Service.
Level 2 Uniformed Protective Services
Duration: 1 year
This practical programme develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for progression into careers within the protective services sector. Students explore leadership, public service operations, teamwork, physical fitness and emergency response while building confidence and resilience.
Level 3 Uniformed Protective Services
Duration: 2 years
This advanced programme prepares students for careers within the Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Armed Forces, Border Force, Prison Service and other public service organisations. Students develop leadership, management, physical fitness and operational knowledge while gaining valuable experience through practical activities and industry engagement.

*If you have not already achieved a GCSE pass at grade 4 or above in English and Maths you will study Maths and/or English as an integral part of your college programme.
We offer a range of support services to help you succeed during your studies, including:
Courses are free for 16-18 who have not studied higher than GCSE's, and for 19-24 with an EHCP. Even if you have studied a different course at college or sixth form we may still be able to help. Speak to the admissions team for more information. There maybe free or reduced costs for adults, contact the admissions team to see if you are eligible.
