Accessibility statement for Course Prospectus Site

This accessibility statement applies to NWSLC course prospecuts site - https://courses.app.nwslc.ac.uk/

This website is run by NWSLC (North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

• zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
• navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
• navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
• listen to most of the website using a screen reader

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

There may not be enough contrast between text and background colours within sections of some web pages, so people with moderately low vision may find it difficult to read. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.3 (contrast). We plan to fix any text contrast issues by December 2026. When we publish new content we’ll make sure our use of text contrast meets accessibility standards.

When zoomed in above 200%, some issues may occur such as tables requiring scrolling in two dimensions and the viewport cutting off some navigation bar options. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.10 (reflow). We plan to fix any reflow issues by December 2026.

This statement was prepared in August 2026.

This website was last tested in August 2026. The testing was carried out by ourselves. We sampled pages commonly accessed by including the browse/search courses page, course information pages, and the login page.
