The T Level Health programme has been developed with healthcare employers to prepare students for careers within healthcare and nursing professions.
Combining classroom learning with practical experience, students gain an understanding of healthcare systems, patient care and professional practice. The Adult Nursing pathway provides an excellent foundation for progression into nursing, healthcare and allied health professions.
You will explore human development, anatomy and physiology, health and wellbeing, safeguarding, communication and professional practice. Through practical learning and industry experience, you will develop the confidence and skills required to support individuals within healthcare environments.
T Levels are advanced technical qualifications designed for students progressing from GCSE study. Entry requirements will vary depending on prior achievement and chosen pathway. During your interview, tutors will discuss your qualifications, interests and career aspirations to ensure the programme is right for you.
Students learn within specialist health and social care environments including simulation facilities, practical skills equipment and dedicated teaching spaces.
Students will require appropriate stationery and access to a laptop where possible. Additional information regarding placement requirements will be provided before enrolment.
Students often progress into Nursing Degrees, Healthcare Apprenticeships, Allied Health Professional programmes and healthcare support roles.
T Levels are two-year technical qualifications developed in partnership with employers and industry experts to give students the knowledge, skills and experience needed to progress into skilled employment, apprenticeships or higher education.
Equivalent to three A Levels, T Levels combine classroom learning with practical industry experience, helping students develop the technical and professional skills that employers are looking for.
As part of your programme, you will complete a substantial industry placement, providing valuable real-world experience and helping you apply your learning in a professional environment.
T Levels are designed to prepare you for your future career while keeping progression options open, whether you choose employment, an apprenticeship or university.

An industry placement is a key part of every T Level programme and gives students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a real workplace.
During your placement, you will work alongside industry professionals, develop practical skills, build confidence and gain a better understanding of your chosen sector.
Industry placements help you:

- Gain experience valued by employers and universities
- Explore career opportunities within your chosen industry
- Develop workplace behaviours and professional networks
Your placement will be carefully planned and supported by both the College and your employer to ensure you gain meaningful and relevant industry experience.

Courses are free for 16-18 who have not studied higher than GCSE's, and for 19-24 with an EHCP. Even if you have studied a different course at college or sixth form we may still be able to help. Speak to the admissions team for more information. There maybe free or reduced costs for adults, contact the admissions team to see if you are eligible.
Once you have submitted your application, you will be invited to attend an interview with one of our specialist tutors.
