Supported Internships

Duration: Typically 1 year

Supported Internships are designed for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who want to move into paid employment and develop greater independence.

The programme combines substantial work placement opportunities with personalised support, helping students build the skills, confidence and experience required to succeed in the workplace. Students spend the majority of their time developing employability skills through meaningful work placements while receiving support from specialist staff and employer partners.

Supported Internships are tailored to individual strengths, interests and career aspirations, providing a clear pathway towards sustainable employment.
