Sport and Fitness Full Time Programme

Level 1 Sport

Duration: 1 year

This introductory programme is ideal for students who are passionate about sport and physical activity. You will develop practical sporting skills, improve your fitness and gain an understanding of the sports industry while building confidence and employability skills.

Level 2 Sport

Duration: 1 year

This programme develops the knowledge, skills and understanding required for progression within the sport and fitness sector. Students explore sports coaching, fitness training, sports development and performance while preparing for higher-level study or employment.

Level 3 Sports Coaching

Duration: 2 years

This advanced programme prepares students for careers within coaching, sports development and physical activity. Students develop practical coaching techniques, leadership skills and an understanding of sports performance while gaining valuable experience planning and delivering coaching sessions.

Level 3 Sports Fitness

Duration: 2 years

This specialist programme focuses on fitness training, health and wellbeing, sports science and performance improvement. Students develop the skills and knowledge required for careers within the fitness industry while preparing for higher education and professional qualifications.

This course is a Study Programme which consists of:

*If you have not already achieved a GCSE pass at grade 4 or above in English and Maths you will study Maths and/or English as an integral part of your college programme.

Courses are free for 16-18 who have not studied higher than GCSE's, and for 19-24 with an EHCP. Even if you have studied a different course at college or sixth form we may still be able to help. Speak to the admissions team for more information. There maybe free or reduced costs for adults, contact the admissions team to see if you are eligible.
