This practical programme introduces students to the exciting world of media production. Through creative projects, you will explore digital content creation, photography, video production and media communication while developing the technical and creative skills required for progression to advanced study.
Level 2 Creative Media and Games Design
Duration: 1 year
Available at Wigston Campus only
This innovative programme combines creative media production with games design principles. Students develop skills in digital graphics, storytelling, interactive media and content creation while building a portfolio of creative work and preparing for progression to higher-level study.
Level 3 Journalism
Duration: 2 years
Available at Hinckley Campus only
This industry-focused programme develops the skills required for careers in journalism, publishing, digital media and communications. Students learn how to research, write, produce and present content across a range of platforms while exploring ethical, legal and professional aspects of modern journalism.
T Level Media
Duration: 2 years
Available at Hinckley and Wigston Campuses
Developed in partnership with employers, the T Level Media programme combines classroom learning with a substantial industry placement. Students develop professional knowledge and practical skills across media production, content creation and creative communication while gaining valuable workplace experience.
This qualification prepares students for careers within the media and creative industries, apprenticeships and higher education.

*If you have not already achieved a GCSE pass at grade 4 or above in English and Maths you will study Maths and/or English as an integral part of your college programme.
We offer a range of support services to help you succeed during your studies, including:
Courses are free for 16-18 who have not studied higher than GCSE's, and for 19-24 with an EHCP. Even if you have studied a different course at college or sixth form we may still be able to help. Speak to the admissions team for more information. There maybe free or reduced costs for adults, contact the admissions team to see if you are eligible.
