Entry Level Occupational Studies (Health and Childcare)

Duration: 1 year

This introductory programme provides students with an insight into careers within health, social care and childcare. You will develop confidence, employability skills and an understanding of caring professions while preparing for progression to higher-level study.

Level 1 Health, Social and Children and Young People's Settings

Duration: 1 year

This course introduces students to the health, social care and childcare sectors. You will develop knowledge of caring roles, communication skills, safeguarding and professional behaviours while exploring a variety of career opportunities within the sector.

Level 2 Health and Social Care

Duration: 1 year

This programme develops the knowledge and practical skills required for a career in health and social care. Students explore human development, communication, safeguarding, health promotion and person-centred care while preparing for progression to advanced qualifications or employment.

Level 3 Technical in Social Care

Duration: 2 years

This advanced qualification develops the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for careers within adult social care and related professions. Students gain a deeper understanding of person-centred practice, legislation, safeguarding and professional responsibilities while preparing for higher education or employment.

T Level Health (Adult Nursing Pathway)

Duration: 2 years

Developed in partnership with employers, the T Level Health (Adult Nursing Pathway) combines classroom learning with a substantial industry placement. Students develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to support individuals within healthcare settings while preparing for careers within nursing, healthcare and allied health professions.

This programme provides a strong progression route into university, higher apprenticeships and professional healthcare careers.
